YAMAHA's Unmanned Helicopter Sprays Pesticides In Scenic Miho Pine Grove

SHIZUOKA, JAPAN - MAY 26: An unmanned helicopter sprays pesticides in the Miho-no-matsubara, or Miho Pine Grove on May 26, 2015 in Shizuoka, Japan. An unmanned helicopter "FAZER" of Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd., carrying 390cc engine, developed mainly for use in the agricultural industry sprays pesticides in the Miho-no-matsubara to prevent it from the pine wilt disease. The test for pesticide spraying conducted last year proved that only a quarter of pine trees needed to be cut down compared to the previous year.
