Comedian Jay Leno holds a starter switch bezel for his 1956 Packard Caribbean in his Burbank garage

Comedian Jay Leno holds a starter switch bezel for his 1956 Packard Caribbean in his Burbank garage on May 11, 2010. The bezel houses the starter switch in the dashboard. The final product was printed in metal after a prototype of the part was designed and printed in plastic. Leno owns an industrial quality 3D printer and uses his garage to make prototypes of rare car parts. This particular part was made with a 3D printer (but not in his garage) by the company that owns the printers, Stratasys. (Photo by Gary Friedman/Los Angeles Times via Getty Images)
