"Cover of Casabella, N. 584, November 1991, 20th Century, graphic, 31 x 28 cm"

"Cover of Casabella, N. 584, November 1991, 20th Century, graphic, 31 x 28 cm Italy, Lombardy, Milan, Arnoldo Mondadori Editore. Whole artwork view. On a white background, dark blue headline and below a table of contents, in black with green underlines, and a picture representing a drawing by Otto Kohtz, engraved in etching and aquatint around 1920; the drawing, housed in the Library of the Technical University of Berlin, reproduces his project for the Reichshaus in Berlin, a huge monumental building recalling somehow the illustrations of the tower of Babel; the building features a wide faáade, having the resemblance of a eight storey palace, flanked without interruptions by two five storeys palaces on each side, and a two storey couple even more externally; the design of these palaces being simple and squared, with apertures architraved on the big ground floor, except for the middle, where three extremely high portals are opened, introduced by a neoclassical monument featuring a column supporting a globe and an eagle with spread wings on it, as to symbolize the Germany; what makes the project unrealistic is indeed the succession of seven more seven storeys building on the top of the first, whose dimensions decrease progressively only in width and depth, reproducing a pyramidal effect to the whole, enormous complex.
