A demonstrator holds the portrait of Chilean former dictator Augusto Pinochet during a protest before the British Embassy in Lima, Peru, 03 November. The demonstrators, which included human rights activists and relatives of political prisoners and disappeared, brought a letter to the diplomatic compound to demand that the British House of Lords reject the recent decision of the High Court to declare Pinochet's 16 October arrest unlawful. Pinochet, who is currently recovering from back surgery in a London clinic, is wanted in Spain to answer charges of human rights abuses committed during his regime.
