US George Hincapie rides in the 196,5 km and fifth stage of the 2012 Tour de France cycling race starting in Rouen and finishing in Saint-Quentin, northeastern France, on July 5, 2012. Four former teammates of Lance Armstrong, George Hincapie, Levi Leipheimer, Christian Vande Velde and David Zabriskie, will receive six month bans after they confessed to doping and testified against the seven-time Tour de France winner, as reported on July 5, 2012 by De Telegraaf. They are said to have given evidence in the USADA investigation which has charged Armstrong with doping. All four riders are currently taking part in the Tour de France, but in recent weeks, USA Cycling revealed they opted not to be considered for the Olympic Games.
