Cattle Return From Alpine Summer Grazing

Every year cattle herders bring the animals to Bavarian mountain meadows in the spring, where they remain throughout the summer, before bringing them back to farms in the villages below for the winter. This year brought an unusually high number of cattle fatalities during the summer, which farmers attribute to poisoning from natural causes.
