Japan's telecommunication giant NTT Media Intelligence Laboratories researcher Kenta Niwa displays the world's first zoom-up microphone system, which can pick up target sounds from 20 meters away during a demonstration at the NTT laboratory in Tokyo on April 16, 2014.
