BINTAN, INDONESIA - JULY 19: Mey Chan is at Ark Temple for a celebration for Chinese Birth of Goddess Kwan Im, also referred as Availokitesvara, on July 19, 2014 in Bintan, Indonesia. This celebration is held throughout the year by her followers as a ritual during dinner parties. Mey Chan, regarded as incarnation of Goddess, scars her tongue, walk on the hot coal and on nails with bare foot during the ritual.
