A painter works on the Mersey Ferry, 'Snowdrop' in a dock in Birkenhead, north west England on March 4, 2015. The ferry has been transformed from its normal black, white and red colours by Liverpool Biennial, 14-18 NOW WW1 Centenary Art Commissions and Tate Liverpool, who commissioned British pop art artist, Peter Blake, to create the dazzle pattern. The third in the series of Dazzle Ship commissions after Carlos Cruz-Diez's 'Edmund Gardner' on the Liverpool Waterfront and Tobias Rehbergers Dazzle Ship on the River Thames in London, Sir Peters design entitled Everybody Razzle Dazzle will cover the Mersey Ferry for the next two years, making this the first of the Dazzle Ship commissions to be a working vessel.
