Families Evicted From Cinecitta District Await Their Fate

ROME, ITALY - AUGUST 16: The evicted families have put tents, blankets and mattress to spend the night waiting for the meeting with the Prefecture on August 16, 2017 in Rome, Italy. 100 families were evicted from a building in Quintavalle Street in the Cinecitta district after occupying the building for 3 years and following the eviction no municipal structure has offered help to families and children. They have moved to the Colonnade of the Basilica of the 12 Apostles in Piazza SS Apostoli after receiving permission from the friars to wait there until their meeting in the prefecture, which will determine where they will be re-housed.
