The World Environment Day, was established by the United Nations in 1972 to raise the global awareness of every nation, to take positive environmental actions in protecting nature, and the planet Earth. And the first World Environment Day was celebrated in 1973. Since then, it is commemorated yearly on the 5th day of June in different cities with different themes.
