Malaysia-based Asia's largest budget carrier AirAsia said that it has aggressive plans for its no-frills Indian airine joint venture later this year, with an aim to add ten aircraft each year. AirAsia, which won approval from India's foreign investment panel earlier this year to set up an airline in a joint venture with the giant Tata group and entrepreneur Arun Bhatia's Telstra Tradeplace. The company has already recruited 50 people, including pilots and engineers, he said, for the airline which plans to start operations later in 2013.
