BIG SUR, CALIFORNIA: Caltrans employees and contractors work to stabilize the southbound portion of CA Highway 1 that collapsed into the Pacific Ocean, which occurred on Saturday March 30th after days of heavy rainfall, hail and powerful winds, in Big Sur, California on Wednesday, April 17, 2024.
