Duchess of Kent and Dith Pran Shake Hands

The film is based on true events during the Khmer Rouge's invasion of Phnom Penh in 1975. Pran was an interpreter for the New York Times correspondent Sydney Schanberg and the film tells of their forced separation and the horror that ensued.
