Start of the "Universe on Tour" roadshow

09 May 2023, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Rostock: Stefan Gotthold, director of the Archenhold Observatory Berlin, shows an image of Dimidium, an exoplanet orbiting the star Helvetios in the constellation Pegasus. It was discovered in 1995 as the first planet outside the solar system. The nationwide roadshow "Universe on Tour" with a mobile planetarium will be presented at its launch in the Hanseatic city at a press event. The campaign is taking place as part of the Year of Science 2023. In Rostock, visitors can experience outer space in the city harbor from May 10 to 14, 2023, and admission is free.
