DISNEY CHANNEL PRESENTS THE 2017 RADIO DISNEY MUSIC AWARDS - Multiplatinum recording artist, songwriter, actor and philanthropist Nick Jonas was honored with the 2017 RDMA 'Hero' Award. Jonas is being recognized for his philanthropic work with Beyond Type 1, a non-profit organization he founded which leverages the power of social media and technology to provide resources for those living with Type 1 diabetes, and provides funding for research, education, advocacy and programs to improve the lives of those living with Type 1 diabetes.
