(Original Caption) On his way to the court room is PFC, Thomas L. Devore, a member of Company M, 6th Infantry Regiment, stationed in Berlin, of Brooklyn, N.Y. A Berlin Command general court martial found him guilty of involuntary manslaughter and three charges of assault and sentenced him to be dishonorably discharged from the military service, to forfeit all pay and allowances and to be confined at hard labor for 5 years. He was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in connection with the death of PFC. Arlenius J. Lamica, 19, of North Bangor, N.Y., who died early on March 4 shortly after a fist fight between the two in the company barracks. Two of the assault convictions were for striking two other soldiers in the barracks late on the night of March 3rd. The third assault conviction was for striking another soldier in a Berlin cafe on the night of February 29th, causing seriou
