Bill Veeck, owner of the St. Louis Browns, and producer of the "Sportsman's Park Spasms of 1951," is swamped by fans' answers to one of his latest zany ideas. The letters are from baseball enthusiasts who want the job of running the cellar-dwelling Browns for one night. The lucky writers will be sent passes for the August 24th game which they'll manage from a section in the grandstands. At left is one of the signs which will be held up asking the "managers" for a decision.
