Demonstration In Defense Of Primary Care In Rural Areas

The protest has been called by the Rural Action Movement (MAR) and the Federation of Neighborhood Associations of the Province of Teruel to demand more healthcare personnel and better resources for the population of rural areas. Among the different demands are the lack of professionals to fill the vacancies in rural health centers and clinics. In addition to the dozen unions and organizations that joined the call for the demonstration, 14 other groups have joined in recent days and four buses have brought residents of the Cuencas Mineras region to participate in the rally.
