Tanks and soldiers stand in front of the Government Palace, the Casa Rosada, Buenos Aires, 24 March 1976. In the small hours of the morning, President Isabel Peron was deposed by Argentine's military leaders in a bloodless coup. She flew in a helicopter to her home in the suburb, but instead the crew took her to the metropolitan airport where she was arrested by a General.
