MADRID, SPAIN - FEBRUARY 20: The Minister of Energy of the Netherlands, Rob Jetten, during a press conference with the Third Vice-President and Minister for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge, following the signing of the MoU on hydrogen cooperation, at the opening of the SPIREC 2023 International Renewable Energy Conference, at IFEMA in Madrid, Spain, on 20 February, 2023 in Madrid, Spain. The event is being held in Spain for the first time, and brings together government representatives, spokespersons from multilateral organizations, economic partners, academics and civil society to discuss the current and future challenges of the energy transition on a global scale. The event is organized by the Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving (IDEA), on behalf of the Spanish government, and REN 21, the largest international platform for analysis and promotion of renewable energies.
