'Strike for Black Lives' – Fight for Racial Equality - NYC

NEW YORK, NY – JULY 20, 2020: Labor unions workers rallied outside the Trump International Hotel & Tower at Columbus Circle in Manhattan, New York City to protest systemic racism and economic inequality. Throughout the United States workers walked off their jobs to participate in the 'Strike for Black Lives' organized by labor unions and social and racial justice organizations. Rally participants held signs that read, "Black Lives Matter," "Racism is a public health crisis," and "Unions for all," and "Defund the Police." This event is held in light of the worldwide protests sparked by the death of George Floyd and police brutality.
