- parade to celebrate the coronation of King Edward VII / carriage carrying women is followed by men, walking, wearing black waistcoats under white coats and black peaked caps, float with two giant lamps carrying men dressed the same follows them with banner, ‘City Lamplighters’ / carriages carrying pieces of heavy machinery follow / boy’s marching band wearing pillbox hats with black and white bands round and chin straps, followed by marching young boys in white peaked kepi hats with white cloth down the back of neck - like the French Foreign Legion hat - and carrying guns over shoulders / parade of floats, the first with ‘Horses shod with care’ sign, then a cart with passengers with sign ‘Oxley's Toby’ on the side, float carrying giant horseshoe, decorated with horseshoes followed by large group of men.
