Harold Johnson Sparing with His Father Phil Johnson
(Original Caption) Light heavyweight Harold Johnson, who'll meet Champion Archie Moore in Madison Square Garden for the title on August 11th, spars with his father Phil Johnson (right), a former ranking heavyweight. Harold, who's celebrating his 26th birthday, weighs ten pounds less than his 185-pound father. Father Phil retired from the ring 12 years ago after winning 150 out of 200 pro fights. Both father and son have had the dubious distinction off being knocked out by former Heavyweight Champ Jersey Joe Walcott.
