A group called ACT for America organized protests titled, "March Against Sharia," (against Sharia Law) in 20 cities across the United States. The protests led to counter demonstrations, and violence in some cases. Some civil rights groups are calling the protests anti-Muslim. Protesters, some who arrived with military style rifles, and others wearing masks, were kept separated by police. The event in Indianapolis ended peacefully without any arrests or violence.
