How do you respond to concerns by childcare providers that they're struggling to cope with the costs due to the rising minimum wage and the National Insurance increase? A: From today, life is just a bit easier for working families across the country. We promise to deliver 30 hours of funded childcare from September. That's what we're delivering against the odds, to deliver a promise to parents so that more children access to good quality early education across the country. We inherited a pledge without a plan and we've been working really closely with early years providers and local authorities to make sure there's sufficient places and workforce across the country. And we've delivered on that promise today, which is a really a moment for the earlier sector and for parents across the country.
