Vegetable leafminer larval damage (Liriomyza sativae) to a tomato leaf (Solanum lycopersicum). The pale tracks in the bean leaf are the tunnels made by the larvae of the vegetable leaf miner (Liriomyza sativae). Leaf miner larvae cause great damage to plants and are difficult to control as they are protected from insecticide sprays by feeding within the inner tissues of the leaves.
