Strikers Throwing Objects at Truck

(Original Caption) Efforts to drive a truck load of food past a picket line in front of the Ohio Rubber Company Plant at Ashtabula, Ohio, where several hundred non-striking employees are beseiged, precipitated a clash between strikers and guards in which tear gas and rocks were freely used. The above photo shows strikers hurling rocks at the truck which eventually succeeded in getting into the plant. Several children, leaving a nearby school at the moment of the clash, were affected by the tear gas.
