Protest for Premier Dollfuss

(Original Caption) A general view of the immense crowd that stormed Madison Square Garden to attend the mass meeting of all trade unions in protest of the treatment of the Austrian socialists by Premier Dollfuss of that country,although nearly 500,000 workers gathered to attend the rally only a small part of the crowd could get in due to the fact that the building only seats about 23,000.With the result that the police had a large crowd on their hands outside the Garden.
