'Oh My God': Hot Air Balloon Landing in Colorado Goes Wrong

Leslie Medina said she filmed this video of the nail-biting moment which took place during the annual https://coloradospringslabordayliftoff.com/ Colorado Springs' Labor Day Lift-Off . "At first I thought he [the balloonist] was just trying to show off because there was people down here looking up," Medina told Storyful. "But then I [saw] that he was getting closer and the whole air balloon goes down super fast so I didn't give the pilots enough time to react to turn the fire on." she said. In the video, the hot air balloon drops down and scrapes the ground, just a few feet away from a nearby apartment building. A tear is also visible in the side of the balloon.
