Airbus catches sight of business oportunity in LAN

Sao Paulo, 23 mar (EFE) (Camera: Marta Berard).- Aeronautical manufacturer Airbus considers that the mergen betwen Chilean LAN and Brazilian TAM airlines offers them a business oportunity. Airbus' executive Vice-president in Latin America and Caribbean, Rafael Alonso, said the operation between both arlines will end up in an 'amazing company with a great potential'. The result of the merger between both airlines will be LATAM, the biggest Latin American airline and the tenth in the world. The operation has already been approved by the regulatory bodies in Chile and Brazil.
