Talk About a Birdie: Magpie Interrupts UK Golfer's Tee Off

When a golfer steps up to the tee, he's usually hoping for a birdie, but not of the kind that greeted Charlie Smith as he tried to line up his drive recently at a course in Kent. Smith was welcomed by a cheeky magpie laying claim to the tee box at the sixth hole, and repeatedly pecking his ball off the tee. A bemused Smith warns the magpie to behave, but the bird has no interest in obeying, much to the delight of his friend Danny Miller, who recorded the scene.
